About David Kerr

David Kerr is a culturally Deaf. He graduated from the Sir James Whitney School for the Deaf (formerly Ontario School for the Deaf, Belleville). He went to Gallaudet University and McMaster University to receive a B.A. Degree in Political Sciences: American and Canadian Politics.

He completed a Deafhood Institute certificate (summer 2009) at Ohlone College (Ohlone College in partnership with Gallaudet University).

He has been the Regional Director of the Canadian Hearing Society, Windsor Region since 1999.

David is the former President of the Ontario Association of the Deaf (1986-88 and 1993-95). He is the current Chair of the Deaf Education Coalition and is on the Board of the Ontario Association of the Deaf (2013-2014).

David has his wife, Kathryn and his two grown children, Stephanie and William.
